I am driving myself certifiably insane. Doctor's appointment yesterday, with yet another cervical check (my doctor even joked that she didn't think she'd ever checked anyone cervix as much as mine!), showed once again that nothing is happening. Status quo. Is it okay for me to tell myself to relax? Doc was happy enough with the way everythings been going that she suggested going back to biweekly appointments rather than weekly, until I'm at 36 weeks. So I think I really need to stop being so paranoid.
Phred was also super active last night - dancing away like mad. With M's hand on my lower belly he was able to feel lots of movement, which made me really really happy. There were also a couple of really bizarre feeling movements - if I had to guess I'd say that Phred was rolling over, and his foot was pressing against me as he was doing it, so it was the rotation we were feeling.
(For those of you who remarked upon my use of pronouns in my last post - we don't know if Phred is a boy or a girl, so I alternate between both options, getting myself used to the idea of either:-)
I also wanted to say how much I appreciate your comments on my last entry. Some excellent points in there! I really love this community.

Good to hear that things are getting better! :)
I'm so glad M can feel the baby move. I see the joy it brings The Dude to feel her moving around in there, and I would want that feeling for everyone.
Glad to hear that things are going better. I am so happy to hear that Phred is moving about!
Take care
Easier said than done, but if your doc feels confident, so should you!
Status quo cervix is good! That lower belly spot does seem to be the easiest one for other people to feel movement -- G has the easiest time feeling the Pixels there too. Oddly enough, he will often feel it there when the actual impact of the kick was elsewhere. Ripple effect, I guess...
I'm so glad M was able to feel Phred's movements! Don't think of it as paranoia, think of it as your motherly instincts in wanting to protect Phred and make sure s/he is very healthy on arrival. It's a great sign that your doctor is talking about 36-week appointments - obviously she has great hope you'll make it that far.
I am glad that you are doing well. Feeling Phred's movements must be amazing.
It would be hard not to be paranoid with all that you've been going through. I'm glad Phred's dancing supplied a few happy pregnancy moments, though.
And thanks for the kick in the pants. I posted today, finally!
I am happy to think that every day little Phred is growing bigger and stronger. Enjoy those movement feelings before they begin to hurt -- and I am feeling more confident you will continue to remain pregnant that long! :)
