Better and better!

I only had to get up once last night to go to the loo. Which means I ended up sleeping so much more soundly. Definitely feeling more like myself.

Although when I went to the bathroom when I arrived at work this morning I realized my fly was unbuttoned...

And then when I went again, that I put my undies on inside out this morning!

So I guess I'm not quite as combobulated as I thought.

As I was leaving the bathroom I ran into a coworker who asked how I was doing, so I told her a little bit about it. Then she had the absolute nerve to say to me, "so now make sure you take it easy!" I replied, in a not terribly nice tone of voice, "I *HAVE* been taking it easy". Making me ANGRY is really not going to help, I don't think. People just need to mind their own damn business. It is quite obvious to me that she thinks I brought this on myself - she had definitely given me the sense when I was biking to work that she thought I was overdoing it. Never mind that my DOCTOR said that biking was just fine. Never mind that there is scientific evidence that exercise is GOOD FOR YOU AND THE BABY. She thinks that it is HER place to judge what I've been doing, and then tell me about it. GRRRRRRRRR. And then another coworker made a similar comment to me just afterwards, although in a much nicer way. But still. I have not done any exercise, of any shape or form, for the last 4.5 weeks. They can just fucking bite me.

It always amazes me that people feel qualifed to offer assvice to both pregnant and infertile people alike. Even people who have been through *either* still manage to say incorrect or inappropriate things.

I really wish that people could respect that sometimes, things happen for No.Reason.At.All. Seriously. People, even children, get cancer, and people struggle with infertility and pregnancy problems. Not because they are bad people, or did anything wrong, just because that stuff happens sometimes.

Sorry you had to experience those annoying comments, they would have made me feel upset as well.

So glad you're up and about and feeling more like yourself. Don't pay those people any mind. They're probably just venting their own insecurities about their lack of physical activity. Vanilla dreams says it best below. A hearty "ditto" to her well-said comment. Good thoughts still coming your way! Keep us posted.

I'm glad you are fine. And yeah, you know, the ass clowns like to spread their ignorance around like butter. And after you have the baby, you'll get it too. Everybody's gotta give their two cents. Anyway, continued good news.

It is too bad that sometimes people don't think before opening their mouths!!

Some people just know *everything* you know :)

I think that sometimes people say stupid things because they don't know what else to say... I guess they figure assvice is better than silence. They're wrong.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph-- what a freaking ordeal this has been for you. Everyone can bite you (if that's what you want). It's not like you aren't thinking about what's good for you. I have theories about pregnant bodies and how society regards them, and this is more fodder for my theories. You do what you need to do.

I think out of all those people you're probably the best qualified to know exactly what your body needs and wants! You sounded remarkably polite Nico - they got off easy!

Don'tcha just love people. Massholes. Ha!

Sorry about the hospital stay - I've been very out of it lately. I hope Phred bakes for a little while longer.

I get stuff like that from people, too. Not that things have been particularly problematic this time around, but sometimes I get asked in a rather admonishing tone whether or not I am taking care of myself, avoiding stress, etc. You know, sort of hinting that maybe I hadn't been doing those things the past three times. It's annoying as hell.

Glad Phred seems to be hanging in there OK, though.
