Self medication

I spent the evening in the company of my eight month pregnant on her first try sister, the two year old daughter of a friend who apparently had no idea how babies are made because she sure wasn't trying to get pregnant, celebrating the one year birthday of the daughter of another friend who got pregnant within a month of her wedding.

Then I came home and drowned myself in cake, chocolate, and Barren Mare's archives.

I am so glad I found y'all. I don't know what I would do without you.

Tactless, that is what most the 'other' women are, you know 'the' ones...those fertile .

My Sister in law is a perfect example, announcing that she is pregnant one month then the next time I see her announcing that her best friend is also pregnant after the first try. When she KNOWS exactly what I have gone through.

By now I would've gone insane if it weren't for the blog world. Everyone here rocks!

Yikes, what an evening! You are a stronger woman than I!
I hope you added some vodka to that choco-fest.

I know exactly what you feel about the land of blog. I don't know what I'd do without it either.

You are a better woman than me! I stayed as far away from any preggo women as possible during the 7 months things were up in the air for me.

Nico, babe...I second that. Having this network of support is amazing and helps so, so much.

I'm sorry about your shitty evening. You are one strong woman!

What an evening. I'm thinking about bailing on my school reunion on Sunday because I'm sure it will be like this. The new 8th circle of hell. Cake sounds like the only sensible option.

That sounds like a nightmare...the first bit I mean. You're right, blogging world helps incredibly. The support, the encouragement and the great reads as well as the chance to vent vent vent. Can't imagine doing what I'm doing without it.

Fertile friends? pft! Who needs them!

Can I have some of that cake & chocolate? Or was it chocolate cake? Hmmmm

Luv your blog...

p.s. seems that we MAY be cycling together this month. I started BCP on 3/9 (US 9/3 - keep forgetting). Is this right?

Finding the wonderful women here was the only thing that kept me sane.

The *only* thing.
